Facial Oil: Soothe

Soothe. Balance. Revive. 

A combination of low comedogenic plant oils specifically formulated to soothe inflamed, irritated & acne prone skin. Applying oils to already oily or acne prone skin may seem counter intuitive. Often conventional treatments for acne & congestion can work initially but often become too drying and aggressive on already sensitive skin- causing it to produce more sebum and exacerbating the condition.  This combination of jojoba, hempseed & borage oil works to mimic our skins natural oils (sebum) whilst decreasing inflammation. Borage oil is high in gamma-linoleic acid (GLA) which is fantastic for acne, eczema & inflammatory skin conditions as well as normalising skin barrier function. Extra therapeutic benefits are gained from the sunshine plant- Calendula, which has been infusing in this oil the 'slow way' over one moon cycle. The addition of blue tansy, calming chamomile & juniperberry work to heal & tone the skin without clogging pores. Best used alongside the Venus Mist & Sunshine Serum.  

Directions

For cleansing: apply to face and wash off with a warm (not hot- this can worsen inflammation), soft cloth or cotton pads. Double cleanse if necessary.

Moisturiser: apply a few drops to clean hands & gently pat into skin. Use daily. 

If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately

Storage

Oils can oxidise in light & heat- store in a cool, dark place
